Northbound MacArthur Boulevard On-Ramp Closure ExtendedCrews will be removing and pouring concrete to reconstruct the northbound State Route 55 MacArthur Boulevard straight on-ramp, which will require an extended closure of the ramp. The on-ramp is closed and is expected to be reopen to motorists by Monday, March 10, at 5 a.m. In addition, crews are expected to replace the pavement of the outside lane on northbound SR-55 between MacArthur Boulevard and Dyer Road. This work will require an extended closure of the outside lane, Friday, March 7, at 10 p.m. to Monday, March 10, at 5 a.m. Eastbound Irvine Boulevard On-Ramp to Northbound 133 ClosureThe eastbound Irvine Boulevard on-ramp to northbound State Route 133 will be fully closed Thursday, March 6, from 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. DETOUR: Continue eastbound on Irvine Boulevard and make a U-turn at the light on Ridge Valley. Take a slight right to the northbound SR-133 on-ramp. Nightly Closure: Southbound State Route 133 Connector to Northbound I-5Overnight closures of the southbound State Route 133 connector to the northbound I-5 Freeway continue through Friday, March 7, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. DETOUR: Exit on Irvine Boulevard and turn right. Turn left on Sand Canyon Avenue and turn right to take the on-ramp to northbound 5. Nightly Ramp Closures: State Route 73The following nightly ramp closures in Irvine will continue on State Route 73 through Friday, March 7, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
DETOUR: Exit on Bonita Canyon Road and turn left. Turn left to take the on-ramp to southbound SR-73 and exit on Newport Coast Drive.
