Traffic Signal Shutdown at Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway

As part of the ongoing Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway Intersection project, the traffic signal at the intersection of Jeffrey Road and Alton Parkway will be turned off and/or placed in red flash mode Thursday, January 16, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for traffic signal work. Every effort will be made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions; however, delays should be expected and motorists should consider using alternate routes.

Woodbridge North Roadway Improvements Continue

Pavement rehabilitation and slurry seal is being done on public arterial and residential streets in the community of Woodbridge North. The work includes concrete repairs to various curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and access ramps, as well as resetting manhole and water valve covers on repaved streets.  

The project began Monday, December 9, and will be complete this winter. Work is taking place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on residential streets and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on arterial streets.

At least 72 hours before work begins in an area, temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted where work will occur showing the dates and times parking will be restricted.
