Jamboree Road Pavement Rehabilitation
Work will be done along Jamboree Road, from Michelle Drive to the railroad tracks (City limit), for the final phase of the Jamboree Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Work will be done nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., through Friday, August 9, weather permitting.

Cool Pavement Coating at San Juan and San Leon
The City of Irvine is implementing an innovative pavement coating pilot program that extends the life of City streets while helping to reduce heat from the ground up.
The City’s Public Works & Sustainability Department will apply DuraShield Solar Reflective Grey pavement coating on San Juan and San Leon Monday, August 5, through Friday, August 9, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Work is weather permitting.
This unique coating, which is grey in appearance, has pavement preservation characteristics similar to slurry seal and offers numerous benefits for the community. Irvine is the first Orange County city to apply the solar reflective pavement.

Traffic Signal Shutdown at Jamboree Road and Campus Drive
The traffic signal at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Campus Drive will be turned off and/or placed in red flash mode Thursday, August 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walnut Avenue Closures for the Jeffrey Open Space Trail I-5 Freeway Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge
Lanes on Walnut Avenue will be closed through Friday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for continued work on the Jeffrey Open Space Trail (JOST) I-5 Freeway Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge.
Access to area residences, businesses, southbound I-5 Freeway on- and off-ramps, and Caltrans Park & Ride will be maintained.

261 Toll Road Closures
The Jamboree Road/261 Toll Road off-ramp to Walnut Avenue will be fully closed Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. for pavement work.
Detour information: Eastbound: Turn right onto Edinger Avenue/Irvine Center Drive. Turn left on Harvard Avenue, then continue straight to reach Walnut Avenue. Westbound: Continue north on Jamboree Road. Turn left on Michelle Drive. Turn left on Myford Road, then continue straight to reach Walnut Avenue.
