Enjoy a Night Out with the Irvine Police Department
Join the Irvine Police Department for National Night Out Tuesday, August 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Great Park Palm Court.
National Night Out brings neighbors together with the police department to build a safer and stronger community. The event will feature police and fire vehicles and equipment, community booths, activities, giveaways, and food trucks. You can also meet and greet first responders.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item such as dry pasta, cereal, canned beans and soup, or bags of rice to donate to Families Forward. For more information, view the flier.
Enjoy a Movie on the Lawn or Concert in the Park
Grab your chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets, and enjoy a movie on the lawn at Great Park Live or a concert in the park at Mike Ward Community Park — Woodbridge.
These family-friendly events occur throughout July and August. Purchase snacks from gourmet food trucks at both events. The next concert will be held Saturday, July 27, at 5:30 p.m. with The Reflexx performing. The next movie on the lawn is Thursday, August 1, at 6:30 p.m. when Wonka is played on the big screen.
