A new shuttle service is en route!

Irvine CONNECT provides free shuttle service for community members, and travels between the northern end of Irvine to Irvine Station, with stops at parks, schools, hospitals, and shopping centers. Shuttle frequency is every 20 minutes.

With more than 70 stops on the route, Irvine CONNECT is your ticket to easily getting around the City. Take the shuttle to Lakeview Senior Center, Northwood Town Center, Woodbridge Village Center, and Irvine Spectrum. The shuttle also has stops at Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center and Hoag Hospital.

Additional stops include:

  • Northwood and Heritage community parks
  • Sierra Vista and Lakeside middle schools
  • Irvine and Woodbridge high schools
  • Retail centers on Alton Parkway and Barranca Parkway
  • Irvine Station

All Irvine CONNECT vehicles are fully accessible by wheelchair and other mobility aids. Buses are also equipped with Wi-Fi and bike racks for passengers’ convenience.

Volunteers Needed

Become a volunteer today! Your support helps ensure older adults get proper nutrition while socializing and making friends. Available positions include Rose Garden Café server, Irvine Meals on Wheels driver, and kitchen dishwasher.

Time commitments are as little as twice per month; shifts vary from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, visit irvineseniors.org/volunteers  or contact volunteer@cityofirvine.org.
