Great Park Rendering

Bringing Nature, Exploration, and Wonder

to the Great Park

The City is working with landscape design firm SWA to bring to life a vision for the Great Park that connects people with nature.

In the next phase of development, a botanical garden, Veterans Memorial Park and Gardens, forest reserve, landscape wildlife corridor, riparian arroyos, California native tree palette, and more are planned.

As we continue our series introducing the Great Park partners, SWA's Sean O'Malley shares how the Great Park Framework Plan incorporates nature, exploration, and wonder for all to experience.

March 10: Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. It is believed to be the month during which the Quran, the holy book of Islam, was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.

In addition to fasting, Muslims also engage in extra prayers and spiritual activities during Ramadan. Many Muslims also donate to charity and engage in acts of kindness and goodwill towards others.
