Irvine City Council to Select District Boundary Map

At its meeting October 10 the Irvine City Council will select a map for adoption as part of the City of Irvine's pursuit to form district-based elections.

All City of Irvine registered voters currently vote for the Mayor and all four City Councilmembers. Upon completion of the districting process, the City of Irvine would have six separate voting districts. Beginning in 2024, each voter would vote for the Mayor and one Councilmember to represent the district they live in based on the map selected at this meeting.

You can view the maps for consideration by the City Council and learn more about the process at drawirvine.org
