Attend Free Senior Services Open House Events

Open House

Irvine Senior Services will host free Open House events Thursday, April 27, to give residents and community members a look at programs and services offered at three dedicated senior centers in Irvine. Visitors are invited to visit all three senior centers to view program demonstrations; take home flyers with information about upcoming classes and recreational activities; visit the senior resources table; learn about transportation services; and sign up for volunteer opportunities. Those who attend all three events will be entered into an opportunity drawing.

The free Open House events will be held at the following times and locations:

  • Rancho Senior Center, 9:30–11 a.m. (3 Ethel Coplen Way)
  • Lakeview Senior Center, 12:30–2 p.m. (20 Lake Road)
  • Trabuco Center, 4–5:30 p.m. (5701 Trabuco Road)

We Want Your Input!

Strategic Plan for Seniors

The City of Irvine has partnered with a regional nonprofit, Charitable Ventures, to complete the Strategic Planning process for Senior Services in Irvine. We would like to hear about your experiences as a resident of Irvine, and what you think are the needs of the senior community (those ages 50 and older) in our city.

Your feedback will help us develop a five-year Strategic Plan for Seniors to address these needs in the future, which will include the following key areas: healthy living; housing and emergency preparation; marketing and communication; social well-being; and transportation.

Irvine residents are invited to participate in Community Outreach Events being held throughout April and May.

Learn more about the Strategic Plan for Seniors and the Community Outreach Events at irvineseniors.org/seniorplan.
