Road Construction Projects

The City of Irvine has been hard at work maintaining City streets. To help you identify projects that may affect your drive, our Geographic Information System team maintains an interactive road construction map available at cityofirvine.org/roadconstruction

Among the construction projects currently featured on the map is roadwork that is taking place along Culver Drive from Walnut to the I-5 Freeway. The project includes asphalt rehabilitation; removing and replacing curbs, gutters, curb ramps, and sidewalks; utility protection; pavement delineations; and modifying traffic signals. This project will also lengthen the southbound Culver Drive left-turn pockets at Scottsdale.

The project is expected to continue through the winter. Work is taking place Monday through Friday, typically between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., except in the vicinity of the I-5 Freeway southbound off-ramp, where work will be limited to the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Every effort is being made to keep traffic flowing and minimize disruptions, but we highly encourage drivers to consider alternate routes.

One Irvine Program

Help Determine the Next Neighborhood for One Irvine

The One Irvine program was successful in its first neighborhood last year, and now we are ready to launch the program again! If your home was built in or before 1975, help us select the next neighborhood for the revitalization program by taking a brief survey and providing your feedback.

Visit cityofirvine.org/oneirvine to learn more and take the survey before it closes Friday, October 21.
