Project 529

Register your Bike with the City of Irvine

Did you know that unclaimed bikes in the Irvine Police Department's property room go to auction? Could one of them be yours?

Our Police Officers and Property Specialists work tirelessly to reunite bikes with their owners, but if the bike isn’t registered and hasn’t been reported stolen, finding the owners is very difficult. The first step to ensuring your bike’s safety is to register it with Project 529, a free bike registration service that allows you to input information about your bicycle and upload photos. If your bike is lost or stolen, it is also important to file a report with the police department.

Register your bike to help increase your chances of recovery by visiting project529.com/IrvineYou can also register your bike on the Access Irvine app by clicking the "How can We Help" button.

World Autism Awareness Month

Autism Awareness Day

Every April is World Autism Month, and April 2 is Autism Awareness Day.

Autism spectrum disorder refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech, and nonverbal communication – affecting one in 44 children in the United States.

You can show your support for people with Autism by participating in Autism Speaks campaigns throughout the month, such as by wearing blue, and illuminating lights in blue. Learn more at autismspeaks.org.

Women's History Month

Celebrating our Employees

As we close out the month of March and Women's History Month, we would be remiss if we didn’t celebrate the women of our workforce in the City of Irvine!

We joined the trending TikTok lip-sync of the remix Telephone to showcase our female staff in action around the City. What can’t the women of the City of Irvine do?

Can you tell we enjoy our jobs? Take a look! To learn more about available opportunities, visit cityofirvine.org/jobs.
