Spring Irvine Senior Connection is Online Now

The spring issue of Senior Connection is now online! May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this issue includes information on maintaining your mental well-being in stressful times. Seniors can also learn about nutritional and support resources offered by the City; and browse all virtual activities, drive-in programs, and new outdoor classes available for registration.

Vaccination Resources for Seniors

The City of Irvine wants to help seniors connect to COVID-19 vaccination resources available in our community. Vaccinations are being offered by the state and county, as well as medical organizations. Please visit our COVID-19 Vaccine Resources page for more information.

Help us support vaccinations for seniors: The City is conducting a survey to assess how many senior residents have received the COVID-19 vaccination. Please take a moment to provide your feedback here

Drive-In Bingo

Drive-In Bingo

Join us at the Lakeview Senior Center parking lot for a fun game of Drive-In Bingo, all from the comfort of your car! Bingo cards will be provided or you can bring your own from home. Call Bingo by honking your horn and then turning on your hazard lights. Participants are asked to stay in their cars at all times and wear a mask when receiving, your bingo cards and/or prizes.

Technology Requirements for Online Classes

Classes will be conducted via Zoom. To access this class, a computer such as a Chromebook, Mac, or Windows PC with webcam and microphone is required. Devices such as tablets and phones can also be used. Internet speed requirements: High-speed internet (DSL or cable internet service). A Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants.
