Emergency Rental Assistance

Emergency Rental Assistance Program

In an effort to continue to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 on Irvine’s residential renters, the City of Irvine, in partnership with OC United Way, will be allocating approximately $16.8 million for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

OC United Way will be assisting the City in administering the ERAP. The application period will be from March 8 to March 19, 2021. This program is only for eligible residential renters in Irvine and is not available to commercial, industrial or other types of business-related tenants. For more information on the program, visit cityofirvine.org/erap

Senior Survey

Irvine Seniors Vaccination Survey

Have you received the COVID-19 vaccine? If you are in the current vaccination tier, please take our short survey at surveymonkey.com/r/irvinecovidsurvey. The information will help us assess community need. Results of this survey will be used solely to help us better serve our residents and work with other agencies to establish future access to vaccinations.

Business Support Grant Program

Supporting Our Businesses

We're pleased to share that we have awarded grants to 147 small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic!

Last month, the City received $722,200 from the County to establish our second small business grant program. The 3rd District Small Business Support Grant program invited Irvine businesses located within the County's 3rd District to apply for one-time grants of up to $5,000 between January 20-29. All applications received were entered into a lottery, and were reviewed in the order of their lottery number until all funding was allocated. All $722,200 has now been awarded, and applicants have been notified of their status.
