COVID-19 Task Force Virtual Town Hall
|
The City's COVID-19 Task Force will help navigate and advise the City Council on COVID-19 response efforts, helping to ensure the safety of our community is at the forefront of Council decisions.
The COVID-19 Task Force will hold a virtual Town Hall regarding COVID-19 vaccines on Friday, January 29 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Register for the virtual Town Hall. You can submit questions for the COVID-19 Task Force to answer during the Town Hall when registering for the event.

Here you can learn more about registering to be vaccinated, sign up for the County's vaccine newsletter, and find out when you can get vaccinated according to the "phased approach" distribution plan.

3rd District Small Business Support Grant Program Now Open
|
Irvine small businesses can now apply for one-time grants of up to $5,000 to help cover costs of business interruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and related Stay-At-Home Orders.
To qualify, businesses must be in Irvine and within Orange County's Third Supervisorial District. They must employ 10 or fewer full-time-equivalent employees. Additionally, businesses must not have received grant funding through the City's Small Business Support Program in June 2020, and they must have an active City Business License that has been valid since March 1, 2020.
Businesses that meet program requirements will be entered into a lottery after the application closing date on January 29. Lottery numbers are expected to be posted on the City’s webpage by 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 3.

Participate in City Council Meetings Via Zoom
|
In addition to viewing City Council Meetings via the live and on-demand ICTV streaming service, the City is pleased to announce that City Council meetings will be available through Zoom web-conferencing in an effort to enhance community engagement, and will include a dial in conference call line. For instructions on how to participate, visit the ICTV website. You can also view instructions here on how to submit an e-comment in advance of and during the meeting.
