Drive-In Movie for Seniors and Their Families

Irvine seniors and their families are invited to join us on Thursday, December 10 for a movie on the big screen. Drive-in to the Lakeview Senior Center to enjoy popcorn and a special showing of A Christmas Story. Sound will be transmitted through your car radio. Movie starts at 5:30 p.m. (parking lot opens at 4:45 p.m.). Event is free for seniors ages 50 and older. Attendees are asked to stay in their vehicle and wear a mask. Register now at yourirvine.org.

Crafts & Conversation Join us for an afternoon of crafts and conversation. Pick up your bag of curated craft supplies from the Lakeview Senior Center, then join us virtually as we complete the craft and socialize with others. Healthy Gut, Healthy Brain Learn about the health of the microbiome, prebiotics, and probiotics and how this can modulate mood, weight, and overall health. Presented by UCI Health. Thursday, December 10 | 10–11:30 a.m.  Register Here

Drive-in Bingo Seniors, join us at the Lakeview Senior Center parking lot for a fun game of Drive-In Bingo — cards will be provided or you can bring your own from home. Call Bingo by honking your horn and then turning on your hazard lights. Participants are asked to stay in their cars at all times and wear a mask when receiving cards and/or prizes. Technology Requirements for Online Classes

Classes will be conducted via Zoom. To access this class, a computer such as a Chromebook, Mac, or Windows PC with webcam and microphone is required. Devices such as tablets and phones can also be used. Internet speed requirements: High-speed internet (DSL or cable internet service). A Zoom link will be provided to all registered participants.
