Free Paper Shredding Event

Saturday, June 9

In partnership with the City, Waste Management is hosting a free paper shredding event on Saturday, June 9 at the Lakeview Senior Center. Irvine residents can safely and securely dispose of up to five banker-size file boxes (dimensions 24 inches x 12 inches) at a mobile shredding unit on-site. Event is first come, first served and will end when truck capacity is reached.

Electric Lawn Mower Rebate Program

Global Village at Orange County Great Park

Make plans to travel the world at the 17th annual Irvine Global Village Festival on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Orange County Great Park. Visit the City of Irvine Environmental Programs booth to learn more about recycling, and get tips about conserving resources. This multicultural event features international cuisine, live entertainment, a kids village with crafts and activities, cultural and religious exhibits and an international marketplace.
