FINGERPRINT REQUIREMENT - IMPORTANT NOTICE

Fingerprinting Requirement - Important Notice:  Effective Monday, March 19, 2012, the fee for fingerprinting California Department of Insurance license applicants will be reduced by $2.  The reduction is the result of a decrease in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) share of the fingerprint fee.  The new fingerprint fee for California resident license applicants will be $58.95 when printed at the California Department of Insurance’s three examination sites and $68.95 for those California resident applicants who are fingerprinted at any of PSI’s examination locations.  For non-resident applicants the fingerprinting fee will be $58.95.
