Reminder: City of Goleta to Distribute Free COVID-19 Test Kits
TOMORROW, Saturday, February 5th at West Wind Drive-In Theatre
The City of Goleta would like to remind everyone that it will be distributing 10,000+ free at-home COVID-19 tests to community members tomorrow, Saturday, February 5th at the West Wind Drive-In Theatre (907 S Kellogg Ave). This Point of Distribution (POD) will be a drive thru that is open from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., or until supplies last. Bicycles and scooters are also welcome, but for safety reasons, walk-ups will not be allowed. Community members can receive up to six at-home tests per household, first-come, first-served. Please use Kellogg Avenue to access the POD.
If we run out of test kits before the 3:30 p.m. end time, we will post a notice on our social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and on our website at www.cityofgoleta.org.
The City received the COVID-19 test kits from the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department and our City staff and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members will be handing out the kits to anyone who comes by. Please wear a face covering when coming to pick up your test kits.
Goleta is thankful to the West Wind Drive-In for providing the space, and also thanks the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County for assisting with logistics.
Free at-home test kits can also be ordered online at https://covidtests.gov/.
