Learn More About Goleta at the Community State of the City on April 4
Our third annual Community State of the City is on Thursday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Goleta Valley Community Center (5679 Hollister Avenue). Everyone is invited to attend this free event. Spanish translation is provided. This is an opportunity for you to hear from Mayor Paula Perotte and City Manager Michelle Greene on topics important to you, followed by a Q&A. We hope you can attend in person, but if you are unable, the event will be rebroadcast on Goleta TV (channel 19/104.148) and will also be posted on the City’s website at www.cityofgoleta.org. A broadcast schedule will be available after the event.
El Corazon de Goleta Mural Dedication Ceremony on April 4
Have you seen the mural on the wall outside the Goleta Valley Community Center? More than a dozen students participated in this public art project with artist Barbara Eberhart. Barbara and the volunteers worked hard from October 2018 through February 2019 to bring this beautiful mural to life. Join the Goleta Valley Community Center Board and the City for a ribbon cutting and celebration on Thursday, April 4 at 5:00 p.m. at the Goleta Valley Community Center (5679 Hollister Avenue). This event will take place right before the Community State of the City, we hope you will mark your calendars to attend both.
