Hollister Class I Bike Path Update 7/21/17

The City received notice today from our construction management team that the contractor is planning to work Monday (7/24) night from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. as allowed by the special provisions.  The work will consist of potholing in the eastbound lane of Hollister from Coronado to Pacific Oaks.   One lane each direction will be maintained throughout the night with flaggers at all transitions.

This work is being performed at night to minimize the impact to the public and minimize traffic congestion.  The contractor will perform the “noisier” work (jack hammering) at the beginning of the shift (7-9 p.m.) but vacuum pothole equipment will be used all night.  Therefore some construction noise is expected the entire shift.  We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this project.
