Due to the decreasing demand for coronavirus vaccines, the Larkspur Ferry Terminal mass vaccination site closed on Thursday, June 17. The site opened on Sunday, February 21, and was a collaborative effort between Marin County, their contractor, Curative, and the District. In all, the site provided approximately 60,000 vaccinations and helped Marin County reach a vaccination rate of over 80%. The parking lot at Larkspur Ferry is now fully open to the public with plenty of parking available. Parking is free on weekends and after 1pm on weekdays!
Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry continue to offer free rides to vaccine appointments. You'll need to provide proof of your same-day appointment to the driver.
The District’s Passenger Advisory Committees are Seeking New Members! Members meet regularly to provide input and express the preferences of fellow passengers to District managers and staff.
