REMINDER: GGT quarterly bus schedule adjustments go in effect on Sunday & Monday

REMINDER: On Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11, Golden Gate Transit will adjust regional bus schedules to improve system efficiency. 

New timetables are available online now.

Routes 2, 4, 4C, 8, 18, 24, 24X, 27, 30, 38, 40, 54C, 58, 72X, 92

  • Schedules will be ADJUSTED up to 6 minutes to improve connections and running times.

Route 2

  • NEW hourly weekend/holiday service starting/ending in Marin City! Trips will NOT serve northbound bus stop at Pine & Battery (stop ID 42236) in San Francisco.
  • In the San Francisco Financial District, buses will NO LONGER serve the stop at Sansome farside California (stop ID 42002). Buses WILL begin serving stops at Fremont nearside Mission (stop ID 40074) and Sansome farside Sacramento [in front of the Federal Reserve Bank building at 400 Sansome (stop ID 40052)].
  • Other trip adjustments.

Route 4

  • Southbound trips at 6:40 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. ADDED from E. Blithedale & Tower.
  • Northbound trip at 4:54 p.m. ADDED from Perry & 3rd (5:05 p.m. from Fremont & Mission).
  • Other trip adjustments.

Route 18

  • Northbound trip at 4:37 p.m. ADDED from Perry & 3rd (4:50 p.m. from Pine & Battery).
  • Other trip adjustments.

Route 24

  • Southbound trip at 6:55 a.m. ADDED from Manor (Sir Francis Drake & Olema).
  • Other trip adjustments.

Route 41

  • Route ELIMINATED due to low ridership. Alternate service to San Francisco from Lucas Valley bus pad available on Routes 44, 54 (not all trips), 54C, 58, and 70.

Route 44

  • In the Financial District, buses will NO LONGER serve stops at Fremont nearside Mission (stop ID 40074) and Sansome farside Sacramento [in front of the Federal Reserve Bank building at 400 Sansome (stop ID 40052)]. Buses WILL begin serving stops at Fremont farside Mission (stop ID 40057) and Sansome farside California (stop ID 42002).

Route 72X

  • Southbound trip at 6:33 a.m. from Piner & Industrial CANCELLED.
  • Other trip adjustments.

Route 101

  • Southbound trip at 5:45 a.m. from the San Rafael Transit Center ADDED (effective Jan. 17, 2019).
