Portions of Bridge east sidewalk temporarily closed - 11/20, 12/10, 12/11
Golden Gate Bridge District sent this bulletin at 11/16/2016 02:05 PM PSTOn several upcoming weekend mornings, portions of the Golden Gate Bridge east sidewalk will be temporarily closed for Bridge roadway light replacement, allowing only partial access from one end of the Bridge to the other for pedestrians and persons with disabilities.
On Sunday, November 20; Saturday, December 10; and Sunday, December 11 — from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. each day — the east sidewalk will be closed at certain points. During this time, pedestrians will permitted to access the sidewalk from either end of the Bridge but will only be able to walk as far as the closure area.
Access to the west sidewalk for cyclists during this time will NOT change. Pedestrians are NOT permitted on the west sidewalk.
