iWatch Update for Neighborhood District 18
On March 5th, in the morning in the 1900 block of West Baker Avenue, the police were called regarding a possible burglary in progress. The property and house were searched but no suspect was found. Entry was gained through an unsecured bathroom window. Some drawers in a bedroom were ransacked but nothing appeared to have been taken. The owner noticed the suspect attempting to open a sliding glass window and locked herself in a bedroom and called the police.
On March 5th, overnight in the 2100 block of West Valencia Drive, a vehicle’s rear window was smashed. Nothing was taken. Also, at the same address and at about the same time, the rear window of another vehicle was smashed. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.
On March 6th, during the early morning in the 2600 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue, a 2006 Kia Rio was stolen.
On March 8th, overnight in the 3000 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue, a 1990 Acura Integra was stolen.
On March 10th, during the evening, the police on patrol discovered a vehicle driving with a broken taillight. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, a pursuit ensued. It was later determined that the vehicle was stolen and two suspects were placed in custody.
On March 9th, in the evening, in the 1800 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue, the rear license plate of a vehicle parked in the parking lot was stolen.
On March 9th, sometime overnight, at the school in the 3400 block of West Valencia Drive, yellow graffiti was sprayed on classroom doors.
On March 10th, around noon, in the 3600 block of West Avenue, the rear window of a vehicle was smashed. Nothing was reported taken from the vehicle.
On March 10th, in the evening, in a parking lot at Brookhurst Road and Orangethorpe Avenue, one tire of a vehicle was slashed.
On March 11th, in the 2100 block of West Commonwealth, the victim of vandalism reported that her apartment window was smashed.

Fullerton Police would like to remind you to keep your doors and windows locked when leaving the house, even for a minute. If you have an alarm, don’t forget to activate it.
Fullerton Police remind you to keep your valuables out of view in your vehicle. This includes purses, GPS devices, music players, cell phones, and other electronics. Either take them with you, or place the items in your trunk.
