COVID-19 Updates
County Super PODs to Close. Transition to Mobile Clinics to Begin in Early June.
Further efforts from the Orange County Health Care Agency to achieve mass immunity will be shifting to more community and neighborhood-based vaccination strategies.
To achieve this, the County of Orange will close its Super POD sites at the Anaheim Convention Center, OC Fair & Event Center, and Soka University, as well as Santa Ana College, on June 6, 2021, and shift operations to expanding network of robust mobile PODs.
All County Super and community PODs will offer the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine through close of business on June 5, 2021.
Community members are encouraged to access the schedule of upcoming mobile PODs by calling the OC COVID-19 Hotline at (714) 834-2000 or by registering and logging in to their account in the Othena platform at www.Othena.com. Mobile PODs will accommodate both appointments and walk-ins based on vaccine availability.
You can also visit, vaccines.gov for vaccine locations near you.

Transportation is available. Call the OC COVID-19 Hotline at 714-834-2000 to schedule a ride with AgeWell or Abrazar. Public transportation is also available with OCTA.

Street Improvements on Commonwealth Continue

Paving of Commonwealth between Balcom Avenue and Raymond Avenue and Raymond Avenue between Commonwealth Avenue and Chapman Avenue is now complete. Next week, the project will be finalized with new striping.

Business Scavenger Hunt Applications Due May 20th
The Business Scavenger Hunt portion of Live Local will encourage patrons to visit multiple businesses to win a $500 raffle prize, gifted by Fullerton Free. A bingo card will be printed and distributed to our residents. The more businesses visited, the more stamps will be collected on the bingo card. That means more raffle entries. All Fullerton businesses are welcome to participate!

- Business Applications will be made available on April 29th and due May 20th.
- Business Scavenger Hunt launches June 10th
- Business Scavenger Hunt concludes July 22nd.
- Resident raffle winners announced July 29th.

Camp Hillcrest
The annual summer Camp Hillcrest program, for children 5 -12, will return on June 1st. At Camp Hillcrest we create a fun, action-packed camp for kids to have an unforgettable experience! The camp is supervised by trained, City recreation staff who continuously encourage positive socialization skills, cooperative skills, and group activities. Fun & Play
This summer the Fun and Play program will make Chapman Park its home. This six-week onsite summer camp runs from June 17 through July 30. Only $35 a week, the program will feature arts & crafts, educational enrichment, outdoor play, including cooperative games, team sports, and special events. FEED! We are excited to announce that Feed Fullerton is back! This program connects low-income families with local restaurants recovering from the pandemic. Our goal is to connect 500 households with 24 vouchers each. These vouchers can be redeemed for meals at any of our participating restaurants.
