Summer is heating up, and so are the opportunities ahead. Dive into Augusts highlights, key takeaways, and exciting developments. Here’s the TL;DR of this month’s issue:

Quanta Computer is expanding its Fremont operations with a new 210,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility being developed by Prologis. The company plans to double its local workforce to approximately 4,000 employees over the next 18 months, driven by continued demand for AI hardware.
The expansion is the latest example of continued investment in Fremont's advanced manufacturing sector, with leading technology companies choosing to grow and expand their operations in the city.
We recently joined Agility Robotics in celebrating the Grand Opening of their new 60,000-square-foot Fremont facility, marking another exciting milestone in Fremont’s innovation story.
Agility Robotics is helping shape the future of robotics with Digit, a humanoid robot designed to work alongside people by taking on repetitive and physically demanding tasks, improving workplace safety while supporting businesses facing workforce challenges.
This investment will create new jobs in Fremont and further strengthen our city’s leadership in artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
Thank you to Agility Robotics for choosing Fremont and investing in our community. We look forward to your continued growth and success!
Fremont continues to attract major investment in advanced manufacturing and AI infrastructure. MiTAC’s server manufacturing business has committed to all six buildings at Campus at Bayside, a nearly 470,000-square-foot development in the Warm Springs area. The expansion could bring more than 1,000 jobs to the campus and further strengthen Fremont’s position as a hub for AI hardware, advanced manufacturing, and innovation. With strong demand for modern industrial space, MiTAC’s expansion reflects the continued momentum of Fremont’s growing technology and manufacturing ecosystem.
