City of Fremont Sharing New Below Market Price Home for Sale

The City of Fremont has a brand-new Below Market Price (BMP) home available for sale through the City’s First Time Homebuyer Program. The townhome is part of the new Veranda community in the Centerville District in Fremont.

Interested homebuyers are required to submit a lottery application packet and participate in a lottery to be selected to purchase the Veranda BMP home. Rise Housing Solutions has been contracted by the project developer to manage the lottery application process for the Veranda BMP home.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to purchase a BMP home, applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and may not have owned a home within the last three years. Priority will be given to those currently living or working in Fremont. Those who do not qualify for the live/work preference priority are still eligible to apply.

Income Requirements

An applicant's annual household gross income (before taxes) must meet the minimum and maximum limits listed below. For example, a 3-person household must earn at least $86,280 and no more than $112,550 a year before taxes to be eligible. Applicants with incomes close to the limits are still encouraged to apply.

• 3-person household: $86,280 - $112,550
• 4-person household: $95,880 - $125,050
• 5-person household: $103,560 - $135,100
• 6-person household: $111,210 - $145,100
• 7-person household: $118,890 - $155,100
