New Affordable Housing Development in Fremont Now Accepting Applications

Applications are now being accepted for the lottery waitlist for Osgood North Apartments, a new affordable housing development located at 41829 Osgood Road in Fremont. This new development is for income-eligible individuals and families and will be managed by Fremont Pacific Associates.

At this time, applications are being accepted for 111 rental units at Osgood North Apartments. Applications can be submitted online via the Alameda County Housing Portal. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 3, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. Applications can be submitted any time before the deadline; it is not first come, first served.

Osgood North Apartments includes 111 brand new affordable rental units to be leased to low-income individuals and families. Studios and 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units are available. The property includes a clubhouse, fitness center, on-site property management, and supportive services. The units are anticipated to be move-in ready by spring 2025.

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

The 111 units currently available at Osgood North Apartments are to be leased to low-income households.

Preference will be given to those currently residing or working in Fremont and then those residing or working in Alameda County. All eligible households are encouraged to apply.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS

The deadline to apply for the 111 available units at Osgood North Apartments is Friday, January 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. No exceptions will be made for late submissions. Applications can be submitted any time before the deadline; it is not first come, first served.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Applications can be submitted online via the Alameda County Housing Portal. Applications can also be submitted by mail. Visit the portal for more information. All applications must be submitted by Friday, January 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

SELECTION PROCESS

Submitted applications will be placed into a lottery. A waiting list will be established based on the results of the lottery, application of the City and County preferences, and the resulting ranking order of the applications. Applicants will be invited for an interview in the order of the waiting list. Interviews will continue until the maximum number of applicants to fill the units has been reached.
