We’re excited to share that Sony Honda Mobility has leased a three-building campus at 6100 Stevenson Blvd, formerly the Men’s Wearhouse headquarters. The Japanese joint venture aims to use this site as a hub for their new electric vehicle brand, Afeela. Fremont will be their only Northern California location, adding to our existing network of autotech and cleantech companies.
Prologis has acquired a 292,000-square-foot office and research park in Fremont, previously occupied by Siemens, for $71.3 million. The four-building property, located at Bayside Parkway, was purchased at a rate of $244 per square foot. Now fully occupied by Siemens, the acquisition strengthens Prologis’ footprint in Fremont's growing tech and innovation sectors, offering prime space for future development and industrial tenant needs.

In a major milestone for Downtown Fremont, the Capitol Square Retail project, part of a $100M mixed-use development by TMG Partners, Sares Regis, and SummerHill Homes has been sold to a local retail investment group. Capitol Square was the first project to be built after the City adopted its Downtown Community Plan, and its success has kicked-off a series of additional developments that when fully built-out will establish Capitol Ave as a vibrant retail strip. While the sale price was not disclosed, it is rumored to have set a new benchmark for the region, reflecting the growing momentum in Downtown and the project's full leasing.
