City staff had the privilege of visiting the Delta Electronics US Headquarters campus nestled in Fremont’s Warm Springs District. A global leader in IoT (Internet of Things), green technologies, smart appliances, and electronic components, Delta exemplifies the transformative role corporations can play in championing environmental stewardship. The Fremont Delta Electronics building is certified LEED Platinum and achieved LEED Net Zero status, the first of its kind in Fremont, using its own technology solutions and now generates more electricity than it consumes. During our visit, our team engaged with Delta's Building Automation Solutions group, showcasing their endeavors to decarbonize and seamlessly integrate smart technologies within buildings.
