City of Fontana Named Top Workplace for Three Consecutive Years

Top Workplace 2019

Fontana, Calif.- The City of Fontana is proud to be named a 2019 Top Workplace by Inland News Group for the third consecutive year.

The Top Workplace list is based on employee feedback collected through a third-party survey administered by research company Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture such as alignment, execution, and connection.

"The City of Fontana family is comprised of the most talented and dedicated professionals who truly make Fontana a remarkable place to work," shares Mayor Acquanetta Warren. "This honor is a true testament to the value we place on blurring department lines, a family-friendly culture, and a top-notch workplace environment."

City staff attended a luncheon at the Riverside Convention Center on Wednesday, December 3, accepting the Top Workplace recognition.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” states Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
