In 2019, we experienced growth as we welcomed new residents and businesses from near and far. We celebrated grand openings and awards, launched new programs, and held numerous family-fun events.

Festival of Winter

Christmas Parade and Festival of Winter

The annual Christmas Parade is on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. hosted by the Fontana Exchange Club. The parade begins on the corner of Arrow Boulevard and Sierra Avenue. After enjoy the Festival of Winter on Saturday, December 14 at Miller Park (17004 Arrow Blvd.) from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy train rides, attractions, live entertainment, photo opportunities with Santa, and a variety of vendors and activity booths. Winter Closure

City Offices Closed for the Holidays

All City of Fontana Administrative offices will be closed for the for the holiday season:

Tuesday, December 24, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

Offices will reopen Thursday, January 2, 2020 and resume normal business hours.

During the November 13 Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Community meeting, residents submitted questions to Southern California Edison via index cards. Answers to these questions have been made available here. Answers to the PSPS questions were provided by Southern California Edison staff, and the public safety questions were answered by the City of Fontana staff.
