Mayor Warren Invited to Attend Housing Symposium in Washington D.C.

Fontana, Calif.- Mayor Acquanetta Warren is traveling to Washington, D.C. this week to participate in a panel discussion about improving home affordability in California. The panel is part of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Multifamily Council and Affordable-Workforce Housing Council’s Joint Housing Symposium on Thursday, September 19, 2019. The purpose of the symposium is to identify new ways to enable housing production and improve affordability.

“I am honored to be a panelist at the Housing Symposium and look forward to sharing how Fontana is working to provide home affordability for all our residents,” shares Mayor Warren.

Mayor Warren will be joined on the panel by Big Bear Lake mayor and National City mayor. The panel will discuss the effect of housing demand and costs in their communities and what is being done in their cities to enable housing production and affordability for moderate and lower-income households.

The ULI Housing Symposium is a forum meant to overcome barriers, enable production, and improve affordability in housing.
