Mayor Warren Visits California's Capital to Discuss the Inland Empire at the State Level

Fontana, Calif.- As part of the Inland California Rising coalition, Mayor Acquanetta Warren spent the day in Sacramento meeting with key government decision makers such Governor Newsom's Administration and Speaker Anthony Rendon to discuss topics affecting California's inland regions. 

The Inland California Rising coalition is comprised of elected officials and leaders from across California who are coming together to bring attention to Inland California. The coalition focuses on improving housing, transportation, economic development and workforce development. As part of the meetings today, the coalition is discussing how to create learning opportunities for economic, social and policy innovation, increase private and public investments, and build social and political capital in the region.

“I’m part of a mega-regional collaborative in Sacramento to provide Inland California Rising participants to meet with the Newsom Administration, Speaker Anthony Rendon, and assembly members and senators from Inland California. We are discussing the important role our region, especially Fontana, plays in the future of the state, and joining together to bring our united voice to Sacramento” states Mayor Warren.
