Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free outdoor Hispanic Heritage Celebration/La Gran Fiesta on Saturday, October 6 at the Miller Park Amphitheater (17004 Arrow Blvd.) from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Featuring live entertainment by Como La Flor Band (a Selena tribute band), Orgullo Mestizo (Mexican Folkloric community dance group), Marimba Tropical (Central American Xylophone musician), Fontana High School’s Folklorico Dance Club, and Evie Dance Studio group (Salsa & Argentine Tango dancers). Bike, walk or jog over to Healthy Fontana's 6th Annual Let’s Move on the Trail Health, Safety & Fitness Expo on Saturday, October 13. This free event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and takes place on the Pacific Electric Trail (P.E.T) between Cypress Avenue and the new Miller Park Amphitheater in Fontana. The expo will include tons of information and activities such as healthy food samples, vendors, demonstrations, open houses, and even a bike and walk/run event.
