Fontana Offers Cooling Facilities

Fontana, Calif., Beat the heat this weekend by dropping by Fontana's cooling facilities. The City of Fontana has designated five cooling facility locations throughout the community for public to get relief from the heat. Each facility has seating areas, air conditioning and drinking water for residents to use and enjoy. 

Fontana’s cooling facilities are located at the following centers:

  • The Jessie Turner Health & Fitness Center (15556 Summit Ave.) Open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (909) 854-5100.
  • The Heritage Neighborhood Center (7350 W. Liberty Pkwy.) Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (909) 349-6968.
  • The Cypress Neighborhood Center (8380 Cypress Ave.) Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to noon. (909) 349-6988.
  • The Don Day Neighborhood Center (14501 Live Oak Ave). Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (909) 349-6997.
  • The Jack Bulik Neighborhood Center (16581 Filbert St.) Open Monday through Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m. (909) 349-6984.
