New "Toy Building" in
El Segundo Draws Global Interest

Last month, the Toy Association unveiled plans for The Toy Building at 101 Continental Blvd., a visionary hub designed to bring the global toy industry together in El Segundo. Since the announcement, demand has surged, with leading toy brands vying for space in what will be a premier, year-round showroom destination for product launches, industry events and international collaboration.

Set to open in August 2025, the 95,000 sq. ft. campus will serve as the Toy Association's West Coast showroom, creative workspace, and headquarters for their semi-annual toy convention. With industry giants like Mattel, Moose Toys, and Zuru calling El Segundo home, The Toy Building positions the city at the forefront of toy ingenuity, where global brands can experiment, scale and inspire generations of consumers.

California Smash Pickleball & Social Club

Bridging sports, entertainment and social connection, California Smash Pickleball & Social Club, is set to bring a high-end indoor pickleball experience to Southern California, with its grand unveiling slated for May. Located at Nash and Maple in El Segundo, the transformation of the 30,000 sq. ft. former industrial space has reached a key milestone, as the first of four large-scale murals now brings a vibrant, artistic element to venue's exterior.
