Ride Along with D.O.T.

LeeBoy 3000C

George had a ride along with Brian Mullens of the El Dorado County Department of Transportation to review new equipment (LeeBoy 3000C Force Feed Loader) and ensure road maintenance progress. The Department of Transportation has been working non-stop to keep locals moving. Some important events for this month include the road closure along Bass Lake Road and a public hearing concerning the fee schedule revision. George has been working closely with D.O.T. to encourage better road maintenance.

Planning and Building Department

The El Dorado County Planning and Building Department recently met with George and his assistants to review how the department is improving services. The Building division finalized over 7500 permits last year alone. The Planning division has also been rather busy managing the permitting processes for local residents and several industries. The Planning and Building Department facilitate many different functions, including Vacation Home Rentals (VHRs), commercial cannabis cultivation, parcel information, eTRAKiT, parcel services and more. These functions are necessary for a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Applications and forms are available online, or schedule an appointment.
