Serve on the new MLK, JR. Celebration and Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee.

Now is your chance to get involved with the City of Culver City, who is seeking applicants to fill nine (9) vacancies on the new MLK Jr. and Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee.

Volunteers needed to advise and make recommendations to the City on planning two annual events, the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration and the Juneteenth celebration.

Culver City residents, business owners, and non-residents may apply!

Applications will be accepted by the City Clerk’s Office through Monday, May 20, 2024 at 5PM.

Applicants can complete and submit applications online at the Culver City's Serve webpage.

Applications will be accepted online, by mail, or electronically via email to city.clerk@culvercity.org.

IMPORTANT DATES IF YOU APPLY:

June 3 - Meet & Greet and CBC Interviews

June 10 - Appointments for these openings are to be considered at the Regular City Council Meeting

June 27 - Appointed Members must attend an Ethics/Brown Act (AB1234) Training

City Hall business hours are Monday through Fridays, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (closed alternate Fridays).
