Sites include the Ballona Creek Bike Path
Heal the Bay's Coastal Cleanup Day in Los Angeles County is in its 33rd year! This annual community event will take place on September 17, 2022 as an official activity for California’s statewide Coastal Cleanup and the International Coastal Cleanup movement. Coastal Cleanup Day offers Culver City community members a chance to pick up trash and debris along the Ballona Creek Bike Path. Heal the Bay's Coastal Cleanup Day 2022 theme is "Building Solidarity with our Waters and Each Other."
Culver City Coastal Cleanup Day Locations along the Ballona Creek Bike Path
Volunteers of all ages can register to participate in Coastal Cleanup Day at any of the Culver City 2022 Ballona Creek Bike Path sites! Culver City Public Works staff will be joined by the following site captains:
Duquesne Avenue - Kiwanis Los Angeles Club, Bob Santo and Brian Lee
Overland Avenue - Deborah Gregory, Sandrine Cassidy Schmitt of Ballona Creek Renaissance
Sepulveda Boulevard - Meghan Sahli-Wells
Syd Kronenthal Park - Sierra Club West Los Angeles, Echo Horizon School, Kathy Seal and David Haake
These groups help by hosting the registration tables and will be at the various entrances to the Bike Path.

Culver City's Adopt a Creek video shows the efforts from the local community and provides information for residents on how to be part of the solution to keep our waterways free of litter and pollutants!
