Experience North Indian classical dance as it reverberates through the streets!

Join us on Sunday, September 26th at 5:30pm in downtown Culver City's Town Plaza and don't miss this chance to see ReSound, Leela Dance Collective’s free street-side performance.  The event will showcase kathak dance at its best, including percussive footwork, swift pirouettes, dynamic repertoire, and exhilarating music. Featuring a new generation of emerging kathak dancers trained in the legendary style of Pandit Chitresh Das – Sonali Toppur, Ahana Mukherjee, Carrie McCune, and Ria DasGupta.

This event is part of a 10-day celebration of kathak dance in Los Angeles and San Francisco, featuring free pop-up performances and workshops to educate and inspire audiences of all ages. 

Resound is conceived and arranged by Rina Mehta, senior disciple of kathak legend Pandit Chitresh Das, and cofounder of the critically acclaimed Leeland Dance Collective.
