There will not be a curfew today, Thursday, June 4 in Culver City. Los Angeles County has also announced that there will be no countywide curfew today. We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation during the past several days of curfews. We continue to support the peaceful protest of the tragic death of George Floyd.
The current threat level has decreased so that a curfew is no longer necessary.
Culver City Police have made no arrests or citations for curfew violations.
The National Guard will continue to maintain a presence at the Westfield Culver City mall today, in order to relieve and support Culver City Police. Their mission is limited to preventing crime at the mall. How long they stay there will depend on the day-to-day analysis of security at that location.
Culver CityBus Service will operate normally. If you have any questions, please contact the Culver CityBus Customer Service at (310) 253-6500.
Culver City public safety officials will continue to monitor local conditions. Rapidly changing conditions may require a rapid response by the City to protect public safety. If this happens, the City will notify the public as soon as possible.
