To protect public safety, a curfew is in effect in Culver City from 6:00 PM today, Wednesday, June 3 until tomorrow, Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 AM. Residents are advised to remain in their homes.

The City Manager has declared a Local Emergency due to the threat to public health and safety in Culver City due to widespread violence. We continue to support the peaceful protest of the tragic death of George Floyd.

• People experiencing homelessness are exempt from the order.

• Businesses should allow employees to leave early if necessary and close so that they can remain in compliance with the 6:00 PM curfew.

• Culver CityBus Service is cancelled beginning at 8:00 PM today until Thursday, June 4 at 6:00 AM, in order to ensure the safety of our passengers, drivers, and buses. If you need a ride home after this time, please contact the Culver CityBus Customer Service at (310) 253-6500.

Culver City public safety officials will continue to monitor local conditions. Rapidly changing conditions may require a rapid response by the City to protect public safety, such as modifying curfew hours. If this happens, the City will notify the public as soon as possible.
