Help CulverCityBus make your transit experience better!

Good Day and Happy New Year,

Culver CityBus (our backbone of public mobility services) is excited to introduce a new Intelligent Transportation System. This new system and app, Next CCBus, will let you know when your next public transit bus (or train) will come and will allow you to plan your trip anywhere in LA County. Culver CityBus will hold a series of Focus Groups in February to seek public opinion and input about the system and the new app.

Whether you ride a Culver CityBus, a Big Blue Bus, a Metro Bus or train, Next CCBus can help you with information on arrivals, can help plan trips and send automatic alerts. The new system is accessible through a smart phone application, via web access, interactive voice response system and through real-time bus stop displays located at 74 bus stops within Culver City. The new system will also speed up Culver CityBus within the city, using bus signal priority at all intersections within the city limits. 

Equipment has been installed and our team has started testing the system and the new app. We would like to invite you to give your opinion on the system and what we can do better. We are hosting two focus groups of city residents to help us get the system working right, before our public go-live date of March 3, 2020. 

The commitment is two 1½ hour meetings in February (either Wed 2/5 and 2/19 at 8:00 AM or Sat 2/8 and 2/22 at 9:00 AM).  To participate you will need to have a smartphone and be able to download the app, using your own data service, to functionally use the system. We will ask you to use the system in some form or fashion at least 10 times (that is 5 round trips) during a two week period.  We will ask you to fill out a few forms and provide us feedback.
