Culver City Set to Join Countywide Green Energy Program
On November 13th, the City Council may introduce an ordinance authorizing
the implementation of a Community Choice Aggregation program to provide
electricity citywide and will consider approving a Joint Powers Agreement to join
the Los Angeles Community Choice Energy Authority.
During its meeting
on November 13, 2017, the City Council (1) may introduce an enabling ordinance
pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 366.2 (c) (12) for the purpose of
implementing a Community Choice Aggregation program that provides electricity
citywide; and (2) approve a Joint Powers Agreement to join the Los Angeles
Community Choice Energy Authority (LACCE); and (3) appoint a Council Member and up to
two alternates to serve on the Los Angeles Community Choice Energy Authority
Board.
Persons who are unable to attend the meeting but wish to submit written comments may do so by any of the following means before 4:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017.
