The
15th Annual Kids Carnival celebrating Culver City’s Disability Awareness Month
will take place on Sunday, October 22nd from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Culver City
Senior Center, located at 4095 Overland Avenue (on the corner of Culver Boulevard and Overland Avenue). The event is completely free of charge for youth, families
and adults. An RSVP is required; please call (310) 253-6707 to confirm attendance.
The "Giddy Up Ranch" petting zoo will be available along with many carnival games, booths, a karaoke stage, a photo booth, community resource tables, a marionette
show, a quiet activity room, and an arts and crafts area. All activities have
been specially designed to be accessible to children and adults of all
abilities. Free hot dogs, burgers, pizza, cotton candy and popcorn will
also be served.
This
is an event of Culver City Parks, Recreation & Community Services
Department and is made possible through sponsorship from the Culver City Exchange
Club and the Culver City Senior Citizens Association, Inc. Other event
partners include Culver City’s Disability Advisory Committee and the Culver City Neighborhood Girl Scouts.
