The City Council is pleased to invite your participation in a Public Hearing concerning:

WHO:

Kevin Read (Applicant) / Bastion Development (Owner)

WHAT:

landscaped median streetscape improvements, including maintenance cost for up to 35

years, for Phase VI of the West Washington Area Improvement Plan (includes the city

block from Atlantic to Marcasel Avenues) associated with a proposed mixed use project

consisting of ground floor retail space and 30 residential units. The applicant proposes

to increase the project’s density from the base 35 dwelling units per acre to 50 du/a (an

increase of 9 units). In order to qualify for the increased density, the project is required to

provide a community benefit.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is for the City Council to consider the applicant’s
