The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 Season lineup showcasing a diverse array of world-class entertainers.
Dick Fox’s Golden Boys kicks off the CCPA’s new season on Saturday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m. with Frankie Avalon, Fabian, and Bobby Rydell. The teen idols of the late ’50s and early ’60s perform their greatest hits, including Avalon’s Venus, De De Dinah, and Bobby Sox to Stockings; Fabian’s Turn Me Loose, Tiger, and I’m a Man; and Rydell’s Volare, Wild One, and Kissin’ Time. The fun-filled show includes rare footage from the Bandstand era.
A pre-show Season Opening Celebration Cocktail Reception offers a light fare of hors d’oeuvres featuring savory items and sweets; complimentary wines, sodas, water, coffee, and tea; and a no-host bar. The reception tickets are $125; $100 of the reception ticket benefits the CCPA Endowment Fund and is tax-deductible.
The CCPA’s subscription series – Broadway, Dance, Memory Lane, Masterworks, Recital, and Rob Kapilow’s What Makes It Great? – provide discount packages with significant savings off the regular ticket price.
