Updates to the SacRT Transfer Program Starting July 1

Dear Capitol Corridor Passengers,

 

We’ve updated our Transit Transfer Program with SacRT. Starting July 1, 2026, Capitol Corridor riders will no longer need a separate voucher code to transfer to SacRT light rail and buses.

 

When boarding a SacRT light rail or bus, present your Capitol Corridor e-ticket or paper ticket to the operator and hold onto it throughout your trip.

 

At this time, our Tap2Ride program can only be used on Capitol Corridor trains, but we plan to expand its connection to additional transit services in the future.
