Richmond Station Temporarily Closed: September 19-21, 2025

Attention Capitol Corridor passengers, the Richmond Station will be closed on Friday, September 19 through Sunday, September 21, 2025, for construction affecting the platform area.   

What Capitol Corridor Passengers Can Expect:  

• Richmond station will be closed for construction on September 19-21, 2025. 

• Temporary Bus service will operate hourly between Richmond and Martinez stations Friday: 6:00AM – 6:00PM and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00AM-6:00PM. Please follow the signs at the stations for bus pickup locations.   

• The stairs will be replaced which will close the platform and suspend service for three days. Please check capitolcorridor.org for the current schedules.  

• The Richmond BART station will remain open during this time.  

Please allow extra time to navigate the station during construction.
