Along the Capitol Corridor route, there are great shopping hubs where you'll find gifts for your loved ones (or for you!):
❄️San Francisco Centre - Great for shopping, dining, and don't forget to visit the Christmas tree and go ice skating in Union Square.
❄️Bay Street Emeryville - A 10-minute walk from Emeryville Station or quick trip on the Emery-Go-Round, enjoy name-brand stores, Public Market for eats, movies, and activities!
❄️Fourth Street Berkeley - A block away from Berkeley Station, enjoy high-end stores, local shops, breweries, and fresh eateries.
❄️Downtown Martinez - About three blocks from Martinez Station, shop local for unique gifts, energize at local coffee shops, and enjoy the quant downtown charm.
Safe Holiday Travels and Support for “Holiday Blues”
While the holiday season is exciting and busy, some may struggle with the "holiday blues" or temporary feelings of anxiety or depression during this season. If passengers see someone who appears to be in distress, it is ok to approach them and start a conversation if it seems safe to do so. Showing compassion can help a person in crisis.
